The Nest by the Sea is a collection of homes and home essentials that we put together for our family, friends, and guests in Subic Bay and Manila.

This is home away from home. In our homes you can sleep in on super comfy beds, relax in a hammock, read a book from our library, watch Netflix all day, soak in the tub, cook up a feast with friends, or work on your next novel.

We love the outdoors, so we try to bring a little of that into our homes with plants, and lots of natural light.

We build a lot of the furniture in-house using repurposed materials. Our accent pieces are sourced from secondhand shops or from local weavers and craftsmen. We pick up a lot of flotsam from the shore near our homes and sometimes those are turned into art pieces.

Our Ocean Nest, Forest Nest, and Agta Nest are located on the 3rd floor of an old building facing the rainforest and Triboa Bay in Upper Cubi.

Our Garden Nest in Lower Cubi is a first floor unit, and it is pet friendly! In addition to a private garden, you can soak in the tub while watching the monkeys play on the fence.

Our Hillside Nest is a three bedroom house in Binictican which we manage for a friend. It’s a vacation home nestled on the hillside, at the end of a quiet street, in a sleepy village. It’s a comfortable space for large groups or families who want to get away from the madness of the City. The back porch looks out to a little rainforest, and El Kabayo is just a 5 minute walk.

Our Umi and Eiwa Nests are adjacent, ground floor, pet friendly units in Kalayaan. Each has an outdoor tub and private back patio for your fur babies to run around in.

Our Boho Nest is a guest room in our house in Kalayaan, where we live with our three large dogs.

Our Mariposa Nest is a spacious, 110 square-meter, 4-bedroom low-rise apartment near Greenhills Mall. It’s got a large kitchen, living room, hot tub, and swimming pool. We stay here when we’re in the city, and rent 3 rooms out to long-stay guests. Common spaces are shared with us and other guests.
